It’s annoying that they don’t update status in the portal based on which stage the application is in. Would have saved them a lot of calls and web forms if this was updated properly!

MEP/BM - passed Jan 14

Here’s my Timeline - 24% progress

*We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
*January 14, 2021 You passed the medical exam.
*We do not need additional documents.
*You do not need an interview.
*We do not need your fingerprints. My biometric information & UCI has been uploaded (biometrics was done in 2017 for study permit)
*Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. (I don’t know if this is false or true IP2) I don’t plan to order GCMS notes, I’ll let the application run it’s course for max 6 months.
*Final decision - Your application is in progress.

good luck to all!

Hey, has anything changed in your background check? I have seen a change from "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."

Seems like we both had False IP2 earlier. I am not sure but just guessing.

@legalfalcon

i am fsw -inland applicant. My aor is 13 dec 2020.

i made an mistake in the profile Unknowingly. I answered no to a question regarding if i applied to IRCC before. I misinterpret the question thinking that it was asking if I applied for PR before. Therefore i answered no.

later, from this group, i learnt that it include study permit. i am now at canada with study permit, which means the answer should be yes.

however, in other sections of the application, i mentioned i reside in canada, also in education, activity, travel history cocnlude that I reside in canada now.

what should be my nest steps, as the mistake was totally unintentional. Thanks in advance.

Does this apply for V1 visitor visa too? That I should have answered "yes" to the question about applying to IRCC? I had the same understanding that it only applied to PR applications

If I’m not mistaken the question is: Have you applied to i IRCC before?-so it covers all types of applications.

Yeah, it is an old information which was released Jan 18.

I am just wondering if they process CEC PNP at full capacity or not. Technically it is Provincial Nominee and not CEC.
They state priority is given to, "
people who are exempt from travel restrictions. ".
So i guess cheer up if you are inland applicant.

It seems CEC applications are being processed full capacity while other EE applications under limited capacity and may encounter some delays.

For several days it has been "We have started processing applications received the week of August 12, 2020". Is it that there was an incredibly huge number of applications received during the week of Aug 12 ;)

I'm wondering if they prioritize CEC, do they differentiate CEC Inland and Outland.

Or, if they prioritize Inland applicants, do FSW-inland get prioritized over FSW-Outland
