All the statuses in the sections except Ceremony on my application are “Completed”. The overall status still says In Process. Is that expected? Will the status be updated to decision made before the oath is scheduled..? Please advice.

Eeeeeeek so excited... I JUST GOT MY OATH DATE!! It's in 2 weeks

Congratulations.Did you receive the official oath letter or you checked on the tracker. And what’s your office?
I checked in the tracker, it was updated today and says I'm scheduled for the 15th. I believe the official letters come in anywhere up until 2 days before ceremony. I'm at the Hamilton office

Oh ok I see.Congratulations once again and goodluck

Has anyone recently submitted fingerprints? In how many days were the results received by citizenship office? I submitted on 17th, called them on 30th and the agent said they havent received anything. On asking if they automatically show up once received, she said no the officer has to login and update the results, so now i am just waiting for the officer to look into the file again and check if the fingerprint results are here or not. We late 2019 applicants got the worst deal of all :(

Do you have any idea what is the waiting time for the Oath after Ecas show "Decision Made"?

Tks!

Hi everyone, I'd given my citizenship test on 16th Sept and were waiting for oath ceremony. Just checked status and it says we're scheduled for oath on March 1st 2022.

  • Notice for Citizenship Test and Interview - Sep 16th, 2021
  • Background check completed - Apr 22, 2021
  • Fingerprints sent - Mar 20, 2021
  • Started processing - Sep 21, 2020
  • Acknowledgement (AOR) - July 10, 2020
  • Application Sent - Jan 9, 2020

This thread would be for December 2019 applicants, and based off your timeline it seems you're a January 2020 applicant.
At any case, you're still in a better situation than most here - I took my test back in June and, so far, my file is stuck in limbo.

I am Dec 2019 applicant and I gave test back in June this year. My last update was in Oct when my background was marked completed (After 2nd FP) and prohibition started. Today after a long wait, I finally see my prohibition has been marked as completed and ECAS shows "DM". How long you guys think, it might take for me to receive oath invitation/email? The "Ceremony" status is still showing "Not started"

It depends what office your application is at, I am at the Hamilton office and it took just under eight weeks until I got my oath date (which is for 2 weeks after that)

Ah! "Just" under 8 weeks? Hahaha Thanks anyway.

I have even seen people mentioning that their ceremony is started next day after "Prohibitions" is completed.

My application is at Mississauga location.
