This thread would be for December 2019 applicants, and based off your timeline it seems you're a January 2020 applicant.Hi everyone, I'd given my citizenship test on 16th Sept and were waiting for oath ceremony. Just checked status and it says we're scheduled for oath on March 1st 2022.
It's 3 months away so don't understand why they've given such a long date? Is this normal? Pls help!!

It depends what office your application is at, I am at the Hamilton office and it took just under eight weeks until I got my oath date (which is for 2 weeks after that)I am Dec 2019 applicant and I gave test back in June this year. My last update was in Oct when my background was marked completed (After 2nd FP) and prohibition started. Today after a long wait, I finally see my prohibition has been marked as completed and ECAS shows "DM". How long you guys think, it might take for me to receive oath invitation/email? The "Ceremony" status is still showing "Not started"
Ah! "Just" under 8 weeks? Hahaha Thanks anyway. It depends what office your application is at, I am at the Hamilton office and it took just under eight weeks until I got my oath date (which is for 2 weeks after that)
