I can't believe it'll almost be two years since our applications started! Anyone else stuck in Canada? My PR expired, I didn't renew it because I thought there's no point since I'll be getting my passport soon... Well, it expired in April.

What are the recent requirements for the oath ceremony? Do you have to be in Canada for it? If not, can you take it outside of Canada and then come to Canada as a citizen, but without a Canadian passport?

are you gonna renew your pr? I think based on what others have said I will... If the citizenship takes another year at least I'll be able to get out of Canada in 3.5 ish months xD

I think 4 months from DM is more accurate. I finished my test 7 months ago, and still waiting the oath.

Received certificate Nov 29. Give them a call just to let them know you’re waiting. The day I called the very nxt day my tracker was updated for Oath in Progress

I sent them a webform a couple of weeks ago explaining the long wait I have been experiencing for no reason, and received two damn emails about priority requests only. I am so pissed off today for their unfair treatment and inconsideration . How long did you wait to get through on the line? If it's less than 20 minutes, I may call them.

A candidate must be in Canada to take the Oath.

I don’t remember exactly I guess 40 mins, the response was not satisfactory, they told to wait. But it was updated the same night. Not sure if it was just a coincidence

No, the day everything comes to complete in the tracker except Oath ceremony that’s when Its DM in ECAS. It took 5 months for Oath to be in Progress

40 mins is too long to get through. I will stick with webforms. I will send them one each week or two from now on until I am scheduled for the oath.

I did my test on Oct 27th and yesterday everything changed to "completed" but the Oath. ECAS is showing "Decision Made"

I havent been called for my interview yet. Does anyone know how long after the test the interview is supposed to happen?
