Congratulations mate,it is definitely a positive sign,it shows that your file is been worked on. Medical extension takes place during final review so I learnt from legalfalcon, once that is done the application is approved. Also I have not been able to access my account through gckey, after logging in, it goes back to cic English and French page. Is anyone having such challenge? I have reported, but nothing yet @legalfalcon please help out. Thank you
You can try refreshing or use another browser.
I have not been able to access the webform link on my cic account. I dont know if anyone else is experiencing this.

I just got a ghost update this morning and medicals has been extended.. I hope that means good news is on the way! Fingers crossed. AOR December 20th 2019, outland.
When you are logged in, did you see that your "review of medical results" changed? I had a GU last week too but nothing changed and my medical will be expired in 3 weeks.

When I am logged in, I see "November 13, 2020 You passed the medical exam." I have seen ghost updates in the past where nothing changed too..

I’m really glad to say that we have just received PPR today! We could barely believe it.

FSW-Outland applicant based in the U.S (moving with family). CPC-Ottawa
AOR: December 11, 2019
Medicals passed: December 302019
Biometrics: January 09, 2020

Everything else still saying in progress but GSCM notes requested in October, 2020 gave the impression that everything had passed.

The only problem now is that our medicals are expiring on November 21,2020. Does anyone know what they will do about medicals expiring? Are the automatically extending them? @legalfalcon

Hopefully it won’t take long to get our COPR. Good luck to everyone. Don’t lose hope.
Hello Graci_Neves,

We have a similar situation, outland from US. Pretty much same details like you, but waiting for PPR.
Just wanted to check - In your GCMS notes under Finalize Application section, was there a counterfoil document, If yes what was the create date for counterfoil document ?

Appreciate your help !!

Hi Aj
Congratulations, your application copr PQ was nearly same as mine, please update us for your next steps,
mine is december-11th inland cec,on aug-30th,2020, application got approved but no response then, Primary VO ottawa and secondary vancouver, btw in the new process you should receive email to confirm email and whether you are in canada or not right? Can you elaborate the email you have received?
Thanks, This was the email which I received:

We are at the end of the process for your application for permanent residence in Canada. Since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, IRCC has had to stop in-person services to protect the health and safety of clients and employees. The Department has come up with innovative ways to conduct business. Confirming permanent residence (PR) status without an in-person interview through a new and secure PR Confirmation Portal is one of these new improvements we are happy to offer you.

Through the PR Confirmation Portal:

· You will confirm you currently live in Canada

· You will provide your current address in Canada (we’ll send your permanent resident card in the mail to this address)

· You will submit a recent photo (JPEG or PNG formats are accepted) which we’ll use to print your PR card

· IRCC will upload your document that proves your new PR status you will be able to use this document while you wait for your first PR card that will come to you in the mail

Important notes:

· Clients will have to access the portal themselves. If you’re a representative, please forward this email to the clients you represented for their PR application until they were approved.

  • IRCC will keep improving on this tool, but for now the portal only allows one profile per person. Regardless of their age, each member of your family (i.e. including your Acc-dependants) must have their own profile.
  • You and every Acc-dependant included in your application will need their own unique email address (e.g. gmail, hotmail, etc.) for us to create an account in the PR Confirmation Portal.
Let us know:

You must inform us right away via the IRCC webform of any of these changes:

· marriage or common-law union, divorce, annulment, legal separation

· death of

o the sponsor

o the principal applicant or

o any accompanying family member

· birth or adoption of a child, including grandchildren born to dependent children

· you (the principal applicant) or any of your family members have been charged or convicted of a criminal offence

What you need to do next:

Reply to this email and give us your personal email address and email addresses for every Acc-dependant included in your application. Please use this format, one client per line: Names, UCI, email, date of last time entered in Canada and the location(Port of Entry) - verify your passport for the date and location.

If you can’t access online tools such as the portal due to accessibility issues or special needs, contact us by replying to this message:

If you currently live outside Canada, contact us by replying to this message

Sincerely,
IRCC

Cool! Let me know please, when did you take med exam and when it was passed in your profile.
Asking, because I took exam on 14 of November 2019 but in profile the date is 22 January 2020 when it was passed. That is why I am wondering if I should wait something in near future or after January 2021...

Congratulations! May I ask if you have any dependent in your application? If so, is there any outside Canada and IRCC are separating the finalization procedure for you and your family members? Thanks.

When CPC Ottawa is expected to resume working?
3 months back I received a reply after raising a webform that eligibility is passed, and security and criminality are currently valid.
If there is nothing left in the profile to check why these CPCs are not issuing PPRs? Till when we have to wait? This is really just increasing the anxiety level.
