Good for you that your file is already in VO Mexico it's like the second part, and hopefully you will spend Christmas and New Year's with your partner in Canada. I will let you know when my file gets transferred...

My application was received December 19, haven’t heard anything since medical received at the end of February

My husband is from the Dominican Republic

the mail is sent to the sponsor, most likely they will send it at the end of this month, or at the beginning of September, if you have not had any problems with your application, the most likely thing to be transferred soon you just have to be patient and encourage! I hope you see that transfer email soon.
