Initially I was very sad that my application was transferred to ACCRA vo instead of LONDON VO. At the time I was raging!!! Little did I know that God had bigger plans as London is even way slower than I had anticipated.

Also, I received an email regarding my file being forwarded from Sydney to NDVO on 14th May 2019. I know I need to remain patient, but any rough idea as to when can I expect to hear from them next would be great.

Today i had the misfortune of talking to one of the most indifferent call centre agent who told me that i have "nothing to do but wait". I know that he is toeing the party line by saying you are within 12 months time. But the way he treated the person on the phone was beyond disbelief. As a blanket rule, i think it is useless to talk to an agent at the call centre any more. I have to either try the webform or through an MP.

PS - I called to ask about why the application has not been transferred, even though my notes indicated that my file would be transferred to CPC-M.

call center agents are bad, they hate their jobs and half of them are not fit and trained poorly. I have called many many times and only maybe once got an agent that cared and showed it.

We send my husband's passport on June 4th and was delivered at CPC-Ottawa on June 6th. However, there are no updates afterward either from CPC-Ottawa or NDVO office. No update on CIC either.

It almost going to be 4 weeks since we submitted. We contacted CIC agent today and she only confirmed that passport yet to be processed and she could not provide any other information.

Is anyone else in this situation? What should we do?

If I was in your situation, I’d be relaxing lol. Simply because everything on your app has been processed and you’ve sent in your passport. It can take a few weeks, but nothing compares to the waiting some of us have left. Some of our files haven’t even been transferred to the respective VOs. So I wouldn’t worry if I were you.
