Hello

Finally, I received Citizenship Certificate yesterday at Oath Ceremony..
It was a wonderful experience..!

Thanks
congrats. So, when can you apply for the passport?

I think I read a post from someone taking oath on thursday where the judge told
them not to apply for the passport before tuesday.

Wrote my test today. 20/20
During the interview the officer noticed that I didn't include two of my trips back in 2014 (genuine mistakes) before I became a PR. I couldn't find one of the itineraries so she asked me to sign a form for them to verify my travel record with the U.S. The officer told me it shouldn't be a problem because I have enough days (6-month buffer) to cover those 2 trips (~ 3 weeks in total). Hopefully I will receive the oath invite soon.
ECAS status changed to Decision Made today.

According to them it takes 48 working hours to update the information in the system and to reflect the same information in the Passport website. So they advise to wait at least 2 working days before applying. Also I am not in hurry, will apply next week or so, because it takes less than 2 weeks to get your passport after applying.

Thanks

I think nobody is updating sheet anymore

Thanks a lot,

Hi admin,

Thanks a lot,
seems like admin is on leave. Sheets have not been updated in many weeks.

Most of the December, 2019 applicants are almost done with the process so may be that is the reason nobody is updating the sheet and this forum has been slowed down.

I wrote my test yesterday and they waived the interview and told me that you will receive a notice for Oath ceremony. It happed with all the people I guess, wroe the test with me yesterday. When I asked why, she told me that this is the way some of files processed.
Did anyone experienced the same? is this normal practice?

What does the column "decision made" in the spreadsheet represent? Isn't a given that once you pass the test, that you are practically just awaiting the Oath? Any pointers, suggestions for the interview/test would be appreciated.

Thank you.
