We had our citizenship ceremony today. It was the most beautiful event made even more special by the fact that we became Canadians on Canada Day. It was emotional thinking about the journey from coming here as PRs to this day. It was well worth it. I wish you all success in the process. I doubt that we would ever be on any such forum again. Good luck.

Congratulations my friend!

Awesome, congratulations~

Can you describe how the interview went ? E.g. was it the usual run-down of accounting for passport stamps, what your occupation is, whether you speak French/English ? How is the location where the test is held ?

Thank you, and good luck! Yes, you are right, questions about passports, asked if that is the only passport/citizenship in my possession, checked if I have any other permanent resident status in other countries. And then mostly explained what to kind of expect, however, nothing clear. My understanding is that officers are skipping answering concretely in general (when it comes to things such as: when to expect the invitation, how long does it take in general and/or in my particular case. All in all everything went nice and smooth. Best of luck!

Hello Guys!

Hello guys! If you pass the test, Are you 100% sure that you will be Canadian citizen already. Or there are cases even if you pass and still they don’t approve you to become Canadian citizen.

It is because I look at the table and compare my situation to other applicants. Decision made was done like 1-3 days. Amd I’m already on the 7th day.

I just feel worried. Can somebody please enlighten me. Thank you very much in advance!
