Dear All,

My wife got Fingerprint request today, I know it is normal to get such request. but need to get your opinion to move forward
So which of the following option is advisable.?
Option A: Goto RCMP and get fingerprints done and will they send result post to the CIC office directly.?

Option B: Goto Local Police and get fingerprints done and will they send result post to the CIC office directly.?

Option C: Goto RCMP certified agency and get fingerprints done and will they send result post to the CIC office directly.?

By the way I am living in Etobicoke, Toronto.

Thanking you all in advance. :)

Hi just an update for Finger Print Scan Request,

I check with RCMP and they said they do not perform services for Finger Print Scanning
I check with Local Police station and they said they do not perform services for Finger Print Scanning

So, RCMP and Local police both advise to get the finger print done through an RCMP accredited place. So I found below places who are RCMP Accredited an have Finger Print Scan services at their locations.

Can someone please recommend which ones are more reliable,

1. Global ID Services - they charge $56.60
2. Worldwide Forensic Services Inc. - they charge $44.07

or any other which you would like to recommend.?

Hello people.

I've seen too many fingerprint requests lately. For those who have received the request. Are you getting the FP request through email or regular mail?

Email, also they will mention on ECAS status about correspondence being sent

yes 4 months for me too. But I am from the slowest region in Canada, Brampton. I am sure, for me the invite will take another 8 months, so I have
stopped checking.

Same here from Brampton and not expecting test invite soon

Getting a bit nervous, test is tomorrow. I have no idea what happens if we fail and I don't want to Google it :)

Haha, good luck to you. You'll be fine I am sure. No updates on my side yet, been one month since IP. I haven't seen any movement on October or November applicants from Ottawa so I assume that it's just sitting in a queue for now.

Just finished our exam and interview today at Scarborough. Me and my wife both passed the test.
Just want to share with all of you the practice test we use. All of the 20 questions from the actual exam - you can found below.
