Hello my wife doesn’t have a secondary ID proof other than PR card. Can she attach the passport copy to this section as well
You should use Health Insurance Card.

Photo ID card is an alternative of Drivers License for those who dont possess a driver license, but im not sure if its acceptable since the immigration guide tells to use one of the 4 things only

Please Add my Wife's Application Info:

First of All,
Sam should slow down a bit with giving advice in the forum based on latest comments.
ID must be issued by Canadian authority and have a photo.
The four given are just examples.

Apply for ID at the registry, no need to be a driver. Your best option.

Hello Byrwus,

but can I use my Health Card (OHIP)?

Thank you!

I am from Alberta and i do not know about the document you mention. Alberta health card looks like a piece of junk forgotten in the pocket. Alberta health card will not work. If Ontario one has a photo, there is big chance it is good. Other users from Ontario must confirm.
Thanks Byrwus,
Yes. Here in Ontario the Health Card has a picture. I thought it was the same all over Canada.

If someone else from Ontario could help me figure it out, I will appreciate it.

Thank you!

Hi All,

My wife's current non-Canadian passport is expired. And we both plan to apply in January 2019. Does she need to renew her passport first before applying, or no need?

Thanks.

No need to apply for a new passport.

Remember to declare and explain the absence of valid travel document in 14A - Table A and B. A simple explanation would suffice

Hello Everyone,

I have a confusion regarding my application. I lived in India before I landed to Canada in Sep,2015. As of now I have completed 3 years and 3 months in total in Canada. Do I need to submit the PCC from India? According to the guidelines, We need to provide the PCC in last 4 years if lived in any other country for more than 180 days. I have lived in India for more than 180 days in last 4 years before I landed in Canada.

I had submitted PCC for my PR application while I was in India. Do I need to submit PCC again for Citizenship application?

Thank you.
