What do I get?
Free admission to museums, art galleries, science centres, national parks, marine conservation areas, historic sites, and more. As a CAP member, you also receive discounts on travel and free tickets for events and performances*.

When does my CAP expire?
One year from the date on your citizenship certificate. You can register for CAP at any time during your first year of citizenship.

How much does it cost?
CAP is a free program created by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship and our cultural partners.

Eligibility
You are eligible for CAP
if all of the below
are true:

1. You are a Canadian citizen;

2. It has been less than 1 year since your citizenship ceremony;

3. You are 18 years of age or older.

ECAS shows "in process", March 1.
(It was updated sometimes this morning, late last night it was still showing app recieved)
((+1 for a crazy person that checks ECAS 10 times a day ))

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 10, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 6, 2019.

Inlaw app received Dec 5, 2018. No AOR yet. Not sure why.

Any Dec app with returned package? Will they tell you specific reasons so you can reapply right away?

I don't know why some people getting early and some late even ours received before them ! Mine also received 21 dec 2018 and not get Aor yet
