December 2018 - Citizenship Applications

I mailed my application package on Dec 24th. I received AOR on 26-Feb-2019 and they sent a link to book "Discover Canada". I am wondering that what is the next step, do i need to book the Citizenship test myself or CIC would send a correspondence that when to give a test?

Yes, they will update you, wait for their next correspondence.

Hi,
My application was returned back since i did not include copies of the original birth certificates for my kids. The next day I included the needed documents and same application was sent back to Sydney.
My question is how long does it take from receiving the file for the second time to AOR. Am I going to wait for 60ish days again or usually it takes shorter time to AOR.

have you mentioned on the envelope that this is your second application?

I sent same applications with CIC letters that both adults applications is complete, and I attached a letter stating that i am completing the documents as requested.

Originally we sent our package in August. But birth certificate for kid was not translated. So I had to fix it and resent back with cover letter-explanation. And, like Mr. Admin said, it was brand new. So our journey is a bit longer, but all good.
