I want to ask how to print the appendix b on a separate file because it is attached in the email.

I also recieved two emails. The first one has appendix A on it, the second has Appendix B. Do i have to submit both emails to the vfs office?

I submitted my PPR package for COPR. The fedex shipment shows 'delivered' today. But still out of curiosity, is there a way that I can call them and confirm that they have successfully received my passports? (Can't stay calm till I get my passports back )

Hi @cansha, yes, I've seen this, too. Curious if you've identified why this happens? (I'm not able to understand where Indian residents would be expected to send their passports if not NDVO.)

Two different things. An Indian resident will submit his/her passports in VFS nearest to him/her but it doesn't mean that PPR is actually issued by NDVO. In many cases PPRs are issued by Ottawa or Sydney CIO.

After the rejection, I had more photos taken at Walgreens this time. The original visa photographs guy was really rude about his pictures being rejected and couldn't get the background to look white and just refunded me in an angry huff.

The Walgreens photos look good to me but we had to manually cut them so they're not perfectly rectangular, so I don't know what's going to happen. I overnighted them to Ottawa and they'll arrive tomorrow.

I sent the tracking number as requested via email reply.

Photo rejection at COPR stage is very rare as they generally just do "eyeball testing" to see photos are correct dimension and background color. In most cases photos were rejected when people didn't adhere to the photo specifications and sent a 2x2 photo instead which is the common dimension in the USA. But, that didn't happen in your case.

In the recent past most people have encountered photo rejections at PR card printing stage where it seems the photos are selected / rejected by a "machine". Based on experiences of many it seems the "machine" can sometimes reject photos taken with exact specifications if there are some shiny spots. Sometimes happens if someone has oily skin.

So, if photos get rejected at PR card printing stage wear some makeup to avoid shiny spots in picture before taking photos. And people who are yet to send photos make sure your photos are as close to your natural skin tone as possible.

There is no bar in participating in any political activity, however if you have committed any offence that can be categorized as a war crime then CIC will perform additional background check at the time of PPR. Personally I think that it is rare. BTW are you applying from PRC ???

It's been at-least three months since I last checked my status. Below is what I see today. I'm not sure what is going on, should I call them?
my AOR is Dec 4th. MEP sometime in mid Jan(when I last checked it)
