Hi,
My AOR was 2018-12-16. Yesterday (2019-01-28) I received ADR asking for Schedule A. However, I still have not received MEP nor Biometrics Instruction Letter.
Did u submit the schedule A. I also got the ADR on 11th Jan, submitted on 15th Jan, got biometrics request on 17 Jan, submitted on 23 Jan. Current status ip2

Anyone can provide advice which one will be good choice between going to police station or private company for RCMP criminal record check based on finger prints?

Hi All,

My AOR date is 14.12.2018 still i did not receive any update about MEP or Biometrics. Actually i am a Qatar resident and having Pakistan nationality. I did my medicals in Pakistan. Is there any issue with that ?

My AOR is December 29, 2018. I have raised 2 CSEs previously to submit missing documents (original language documents). Now I am considering to raise a 3rd CSE because i realized that i forgot to mention one of the countries that my husband visited in his Travel History. Will raising multiple CSEs affect my application negatively? Has anyone raised several CSEs, how did it go for you?

Checked this morning and my MEP is cleared =] Form didn't show any changes/updates and no email received but medical changed from you don't need an exam to medical passed

Also UK citizen, also AOR 19th here and only got my Biometrics request letter today.

When did you do your medical? Would be interested in keeping track of yoir progress to compare as we go though I'm EE rather than CEC.

I got the letter about job seeking same day as AOR also, incidentally.

I suggest a police station because if you're already in Canada or the US - personally, that seems more credible to me - but I don't know which is faster.
AOR DEC-18
MEP JAN-30
But CIC requested RCMP certified criminal record check based on finger prints... I do not know why...
Anyway I need to know which way is better, going to police station or private accredited company..

It was just an email notifying you of the change in the status of your background check.
AOR: 18/12/2018
MEP: 29/1/2019
Background Check: Status changed from not applicable to your application under process. We will message you when we start your background check on 29/1/2019
Received an email stating that there is an update on my profile. Please check the status/message- 30/01/2019
But nothing has changed since 29/1/2019. What is happening?

From past data, it appears CEC applications are processed the fastest of the three, then FSW-O followed by FSW-I. Besides that, who knows what goes on at IRCC.

Do they process applications in batches (as in FSW-I, FSW-O, CEC) all separate, or just according to AOR - whatever they get first? Or according to country...

This is my "I told you so" moment. ;) Hehe, just kidding. Glad you have your MEP. IRCC doesn't send out emails for MEP; the email that does arrive shortly after is usually for biometrics (if required) and/or IP1.

Yeah, I expected to see some kind of indication on the account itself that there had been an update I could check for but the status was unchanged (probably because it was already set to "action required" which takes priority, I would guess)

Headed to London tomorrow for Biometrics!

What does the status become when you get the IP1?

Your IP1 date is also 30 Jan (not 31), based on the time in Canada and regular business hours in Ottawa. It was 6 AM in Ottawa when you posted your message here.
