Thanks for your reply. However, it is still unclear whether the shipment of the PR cards is "prohibited, controlled, regulated or subject to reporting under the Customs Act". Is there any particular rule regarding PR cards?

@legalfalcon You mentioned that if we leave Canada before our PR cards arrive, we need to apply for PRTD. We were planning to have them mailed to us by relatives. Are there any issues with that?

Hello, We are planning to do our first landing soon, but our stay will be short, so we will leave Canada without the actual PR cards. We will have them mailed to us by our friends later. Is it allowed to leave Canada without the cards? Do they ask to present them at the airport before departure?
