Hey I'm having same situation as you. I applied on January 31 and receivedr in march. My husband pp will be expired in October. I already applied for the new one which will take around 40 days. Have u been asked to submit Schedule A tho?

If submitting the document via mycic:
scan the individual documents and upload them n the apporximate names uploaded area (for example:upload the IMM5669- schedule A into the area that is named "IMM5669- Schedule A )

Is it just me or did the format for the status change in mycic?

I hope this is a good sign for me.

With the new system update, did anyone else get "Not applicable" under background check?

Should be no problem. Would suggest you request a Medical Certificate from your doctor stating about your condition, meds you are taking, etc. When you get the request from CIC about taking the med exam, you can bring a copy of the Med Cert to the hospital or clinic or even give them a copy. I did the same (mine was upfront though) and I also included the original Med Cert when I submitted my application package. I felt relieved knowing my medical is passed as shown on MyCIC account :-)

Btw, I am not Diabetic. I had a serious illness 4 years ago.

Hey, if you dont mind me asking, when did you submit your application ?

I haven't received my AOR2, but under 'Permanent Residence Application Status' it shows in process, and today when i check, it says We started processing application on March 8, 2017. ,

and in mycic it show

" Review of eligibility : We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements. "
Background check Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

I hope they do the background check soon and get us the visa soon :).

Good Luck to everyone.

I wonder if that means they actually started your background check?

For Background in progress, it would be:

"Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

And for not started:

"Background check - Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check."

makes sense :) i hope it doesn't take too long to go to the back ground status

Ahhh ok. Got it.
I know nothing about mycic as I think I am the one and only who STILL can't link to mycic! :o
My only hope is I watch other people's movement and know they are around my timeline haha
I don't want to bug them but I would really like to be able to see what everyone else sees.
I'm afraid if I call I will delay our app

Remember to keep the Dec spreadsheet updated! (in my siggy)

Aw. Until now? That must be so frustrating. But you have access to ECAS, right? Are you still trying to link? Still nothing works? So sorry about that. Anyway, I hope they start processing our apps much faster. This waiting game is sickening.

Yep it's crazy. I took a couple days break because it made me so mad. I do have ecas at least so that's something. Here's to hoping we see some movement for us all

is there any problem if I would like to remove my representative from my application??? I am wondering if there could be any delay or something like that... please reply anybody who did that. because I am not able to link my application due to that representative..

Just curious if anyone has paid the RPRF after application was sent?
We didn't pay it up front but wondering if I should pay it now or wait for them to request?
