You can actually pay for it anytime and send the receipt via CSE. Or you can wait for them to request it. The latter is a better idea since they request for it when the app is almost complete.

I think I'll wait. At least then I'll have an idea when they request it. Even though I know they say if you don't pay it up front it can cause a delay.

is there any problem if I would like to remove my representative from my application??? I am wondering if there could be any delay or something like that... please reply anybody who did that. because I am not able to link my application due to that representative.. please help guys.

Kinda. Because they will give you 30 days to pay for it, and sometimes they put your file on hold and check on it after the 30 days period is up. But if you change your mind, it's fine submitting it to Mexico Visa Office's email address or via CSE.

In our VO (Manila), when they send AOR2, there's a general request for the RPRF if not paid upfront, sometimes applicants will ignore that and just wait for the official request. Do Mexico VO send out something like that too?

The last contact we had was Jan 20 when they said our file was transferred to Mexico. I have read that Mexico is really bad for sending AOR2. So we haven't haven't recieved anything yet but ecas says in process for PA at least. A few people mentioned when they got their request for pgr it mentioned the fee. But we did our police certificate upfront.

That's what mine has said all along too. Although when you click ok the sponsor side it does say decision made.
I know some people get all these lines saying we received your application, we started processing your application, and we sent you correspondence.
All mine showed was they received, even though I did get a letter in mail saying we were approved.
I'm guessing it's because of the officer who happens to get your file whether they actually update or not.

Hi everyone! I have been watching this thread (desperately looking for hope) for a long time now and finally made an account.
Our application was received Dec 1 but there was a significant delay because we couldn't get our marriage certificate until beginning of January. SA didn't come until Feb 12 or so. Finally last week it said we started processing your application March 4. Visa office is Ottawa. Now just today they have requested RPRF. So is this a good thing??? Does it mean it's approved? Typically how long until PPR after this? I m biting my nails here...

If your sponsor side says decision made, and they're processing your application, then they've decided on the sponsor.

The forms asked 'If the sponsor is ineligible do you wish to continue processing?'. If you answered 'no' to that, then you know your sponsor's approved, so that's one way to get an answer?

It's just we have never received word that the sponsor has been approved.
So with zero communication from CIC we have to plan our lives in the worst case scenario

But does it say Decision Made for the sponsor side in ECAS? That's what I'm having trouble ascertaining from your posts.
