No In Process, from the very beginning

Have you called? The amount of time you've been waiting seems pretty screwed up. If your MyCIC and ECAS statuses were progressing normally despite no communication I'd be less concerned.

While my sponsor side in ECAS never did change from In Process, the PA side went in Process normally and progressed as it should have, same with MyCIC making appropriate changes at appropriate times.

If you get someone on the phone who isn't cooperative, try again if necessary until you get someone who can maybe help you.

I'd agree with Dana, I'd call. I applied in January and I already have DM on both Sponsor and PR side inside ECAS. MyCIC still shows background check in progress which seems normal from what I've read.

Thank you very much for the help!
I have called several times and none of them are very helpful or can provide me with any answers.
I have to plan for worst case scenario and leave my partner and job in August which sucks! Very frustrating

novascotia_addict ...

We sent our application a week after you sent yours. I ended up submitting an inquiry via web form on the CIC site and a week later I got SA. You could try that if you're not getting anywhere on the phone.

I guess you do not need AOR2, that request of additional documents shows that you application is moving. My husband did'nt get any AOR2. No additional documents request so I don't have any clue what going on with my husband's application. But usually, from the manila thread in a month after complying with add documents the background check starts. You are almost there.

Hello everyone! I really hope I'm posting in the right place as I could use some guidance. I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring her Irish husband! I sent in our Outland application in December 2016. When I check my status online it says a decision has been made for the sponsorship application status but I haven't received any correspondence from cic telling me if I was found eligible or not. It has said DM for almost 2 months now. When I click the decision made link the timeline shows as:

We received your application to sponsor on December 22, 2016.

We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 14, 2017.

We started processing your application on January 13, 2017.

Under the permanent residence side it says: in process

We received application for permanent residence on December 22, 2016.

Medical results have been received.

Im starting to get a bit nervous because I don't understand why I haven't been contacted about what the decision is. I'm mostly nervous because I stupidly selected to continue with processing my husbands PR even if I am found ineligible on the first form. I'm concerned if I am found ineligible what should I do since I had selected option B? I don't think I should have any problems because I believe I met all the requirements but I can't help being a little paranoid now. If I am found ineligible would we be able to then withdraw my husbands application and start over? Any help would so very appreciated! Thank you everyone!! I also used the new application package. If anyone can help me or has a similar timeline and could shed some light that would be so fantastic! I've been trying to call cic all day but no luck getting through to a human Sad please someone help and put me out of my misery lol

Some more info:
We applied with the new forms, they've contacted my husband about getting his background check and medical results, it looks like his side has been moving.

Are you sure you put the correct email in the application? If you have a copy of what you sent, double check to make sure they have the sponsor's correct email address, since that is what they use for correspondance on Sponsorship Approval.

I sure hope too! I've read same situation like yours that they didn't receive AOR or any requests but PPR came by quickly especially for straightforward cases! Good luck everyone!

Need help urgently!!!!!! My husband received an email asking for the following:

Client Information: Receipt of information from client Authorization to Disclose
Information form + Details of Military Service Form (Country Specific Package). This must be received
at this office by: 2017/04/13

I know about the military service form but have no idea what is the Receipt of information from client Authorization to Disclose
Information form. If someone can help me I will really appreciate it.

They received the application dec 1,2016 and forwarded dec 28, 2016. We submitted AoM upfront but I (sponsor) didn't include my birth certificate.

Hi, if you don't mind sharing your timeline, please? Or, update your Profile so your timeline is shown under your 'name'.

Are you a PR or citizen already? Btw, not all PR sponsor are being asked to submit BC.
