Hi There,
I submitted my application on the 17 December 2015 and got AOR on the 10 February 2016. I have been able to login to my ECAS and found the following information below;

1) We received your application for permanent residence on December 18, 2015.
2) Medical results have been received.

Does this mean my spouse has been approved to sponsor me?
Can someone please enlighten what this is in the entire process?

Regards
I also see the same. i haven't got the SA yet but i can see the medical results have been received.

Hi everyone. Good news. Got SA this morning Australian time. My concern though is my application is now being sent to Ottawa, rather than Sydney Australia. Why would they do that? What is Ottawa like for processing times? Cheers

On the cic website i found this:
Why did processing times information change?

Prior to December 31, 2015, processing times for many of our services were displayed by visa office. This was useful when applications for permanent or temporary residence were always processed by the nearest visa office. However, we now have the ability to move applications around our global network to ensure they are processed as efficiently as possible. This means your application may not be processed at the office closest to where you live.

For many services, instead of asking about your nearest visa office, you are now asked for your country of residence. This provides you with a more accurate processing time. For other services, you may see a single processing time, no matter where you live. This is our commitment to process applications within that time. These processing times are updated on a weekly basis.

Does this means that they will now move the files to different visa offices?

Hi FM do you also see something like this below ?
Sponsorship
We received your application to sponsor XXXXXXXX on December 18, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 10, 2016.
We started processing your application on February 9, 2016.

Yes, thats all i can see.
i think Mississauga is collecting the medical results so that they send the complete application to the visa office.

Weird. That seems to be happening a lot..

Sydney is maybe a might quicker than Ottawa sometimes. But they're pretty much the same timeline.

Remember that the 3 line or medical received thing only counts on the applicant side, not the sponsorship side. Just for those wondering about eCas

Yeah i know i am seeing this on the pr side.i was thinking that may be they are processing it fast that's y they have received my medical results before sponsor approval

My husband has no passport and is not in his home country. He is a refused refugee claimant in the appeal process in Australia. Can I still apply for sponsorship ? Please help

It doesn't make much sense for the PR side to change to IP before you get SA. Like, none at all. Is there a chance you just missed SA? Lost in the mail or lost in email world? Doesnt follow a logical path.

This is the same thing thats showing in my ECAS. Does this mean we are approved as sponsors even though we are yet to receive our SA email/letter?
