Hi All,

I got my SA on email on 15feb m a 11dec applicant my wife is in new delhi and it says file in transit now. Can anyone guide me what happens after this and how many days it will take in new delhi visa approval and stamping. Is any applicant from new delhi side.

Hi. Im in day 72 since application submitted and 14 days since AOR yet still no SA
Im starting to worry. Im retired. There is no income requirement yet proof of how to support is needed I provided a statement of net worth. (More than enough) To complicate things we are moving next week to Victoria. I was going to send the change of address after we move but now worried they will mail something rather than email. All other communications have been by email. I will forward our mail from USPS to Canada. I call CICS each Friday. One has to push a bit to get them to investigate. Last time I called they said to give it a month from AOR.

Batterypk1: I'm day 15 without SA. I've asked CIC if I should worry about my application returning or something missing from it and they have advised that if there was any of that, it would've happened by now. So all they are doing is investigating our files.
My advise: Keep calling CIC to get updates to your files. Also send a case specific request. I'm doing both.

Hi there,

If you had provided an email address on the application, then an email will be sent.
If not, then they will mail out a letter.

i received my AOR yesterday and today i login into ecas it says that they have started working on my sponsorship application on day before yesterday.and under the pr application it says only application received.hope its all normal and going smooth.

OKAY COUPLE THINGS

I can't quote every person I want to reply to haha so uhm. Here's a reply to a few posts I've seen today

AOR: Allow like 70 days before you freak out. I never actually got AOR. I provided a valid email and they just.. didn't bother. Sent me SA by mail at like day.. 65 or something. It made me FREAK OUT and no one here wanted to deal with me while I was waiting (just ask them - they'll tell you) but try to give it awhile.

SA: How long it takes after AOR? Varies. Sometimes over a month. Sometimes 2 days. Depends on the officer that gets your file, unfortunately.

eCAS SPONSORSHIP SIDE: It stays In Process. Even after they send SA. Even after you get SA. I got SA over two weeks ago and my sponsorship side says IP. Worry not.

I forget what else to reply to. Any specific questions I can try to tackle? My brain can't keep up with this thread lawl. Also not claiming I'm an expert, as usual.

1) We received your application for permanent residence on December 18, 2015.
2) Medical results have been received.

Does this mean my spouse has been approved to sponsor me?
Can someone please enlighten what this is in the entire process?

Probably. Sometimes the principal applicant gets more information on eCAS than the sponsor for awhile.

Has your spouse received an SA letter or email? What happens when your spouse logs in? You only got your AOR 10 days ago, so it may take some time for everything to update.

This what we found when my spouse logged in below;

We received your application to sponsor XXXXXXXX on December 18, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 10, 2016.
We started processing your application on February 9, 2016.

I got my SA!! I just called and was told that my SA was just approved and will be sent an email by next week since it's Friday. Can someone update the spreadsheet since I'm not on a computer?
