Hi RK19,
YOu may or may not get AOR for either the first or second part of the process. Clearly you didn't get AOR before you received SA, but that's not a problem since you received SA, which is the most important part. They are now transferring your file to the new VO and to received AOR from that VO depends completely on the individual VO.

I'm not sure if you can contact them in a few weeks to confirm that it was received. Does someone else know that?

So 107 days later, we received SA.
We were a Dec 2nd application and received SA on March 19th.

I had to contact the CIC call centre after the average processing time was up (95 days at the time, I hear it's closer to 65 now), and place a query.

I then called a week later to check up on it and the CIC agent told me that Mississauga then had up to 3 months to respond to the query, but luckily they responded 10 days after my query and they responded with SA!

I just wanted to share my experience for those that are concerned about not hearing about their SA and AOR.

Hi! I have about the same timeline as yours, and last march 19, i also had "medical received" in ecas Under the pr application status that states "application received". Do you happen to know what comes next after this? When do we know that the Manila VO has received our app?

I have no idea what will happen. Hopefully ppr

Finally... got the sa

Hi All,

We finally received SA yesterday (March 20) after receiving AOR on March 06. Our application was received by CIC on December 22.

We are also happy as we were advised that our application will remain in Mississauga, rather than to be sent to my husband's local VISA office in Sydney Australia.

For some reason CIC have requested a RCMP criminal check/fingerprints report to be supplied in a maximum of 30-days so we will process and supply ASAP.

Its great to receive SA and to be one step closer. Could we ask that the spreadsheet be updated to reflect the above.

Thank-you and goodluck to all with your applications - this thread has been fantastic as we learn and negotiate the PR process!
