If it can help, last week, I received my AOR on Wednesday, then my SA on Friday and my status on CIC change from " we received your application on Dec 5th" to "a decision was made" yesterday only! So sometimes news come faster and fresher by e-mail and I decided to think that the officer in charge of my application rather works faster on it than keeping the CIC site updated...need to be positive

If I may ask, which VO did you get for your 2nd stage? I just got SA today and we are being kept in Mississauga.

Congrats to you. once you got the email of AOR , then you can use the UCI no they provided to log in after few days that CIC input your
information into the CIC system (computer). I got the AOR on Mar 2 and can be able to see the status of sponsorship on line on mar 4 (today).

hope that I can get the SA next week.

i have sent an original Notice of assessement instead of option c printout of NoA.

is it ok or not Cry

VO is Paris
I was sitting waiting for AOR2 and them asking me to send the medical...when I realised that in little print hidding in all the explanation on the 3rd printed page of my AOR they already said they send my application to Paris but already consider it as incomplete and ask me to send the medical to Paris... :-X...one week for nothing...PEOPLE READ THE LITTLE PRINT
So here we are next wednesday running on the other side of France to see the doctor! LOL

SA means they send the letter ? I mean we received AOR email before 15 days but still we didnt get any e cas status its shows application received. So after how many days SA comes ? And after getting SA in how much time they take to be decision made ? Please let me know.

Hi,
I have also sent notice of assessment instead of option C. While filing, I read a lot of forums and asked a lot of advisors and they said that it is okay to send NOA instead of Option C. I will still suggest you to apply for it and if you get a request from CIC, you can send it. However, I will suggest you to wait till you get your file number before you send any document since there are high chances of it being misplaced.

It all depends which Vo is handling your application. Application received has been on my file for 6 months . Going through London office .

1) Aor sometimes not all the time
2) SA
3)application received
4)in process
5) decision made
6) request for passport or copy of pages for passport sometimes they want extra passport photos.

Check out the spreed sheet for the country you are applying for and you can follow the people who has applied before hand .
