Depend on how big the mess up, this seems like they just sent the wrong notification letter. It said Dear Applicant, no personal information which leads me to believe it was an internal error.

No actually there is personal information. The letter states:

I would call again, also double check your forms. If it were the right letter it wouldn't say: Inland, call again tell them to send you the correct letter for your records; they will via snail mail.

ECAS would show something if you received SA. Do you have a UCI#?

I will call them again tomorrow. I have my forms here, my wife's address is stated as an outland address. So, is there anywhere else that I should check? Is there a specific section asking if she is residing inside of Canada?

Does anyone know when they will request to resubmit forms before SA or even after SA you can be asked to resubmit forms?

I already got my SA and my file is transfered to Colombo Sri Lanka. Will I be asked to resubmit forms again?

Please let me know. I also want to know how long I will have to wait for visa after SA?

They can ask you to resubmit forms at any point during the PR approval process. For the wait times for visa after SA you have to check the processing times for your VO abroad. I just checked and for Colombo ( your vo abroad) the processing time is currently 13 months.

Got my AOR today!!! Feels like I'm one step closer...! :D

I called CIC this morning. They told me that in the system my file is OUT LAND and it should be a slight mistake by the system. But, they told me to ignore this letter and don't apply for the CSQ until receiving the approval letter. She also sent an email to the Case Processing Center requesting to answer about this mistake and she mentioned it could take 2 weeks to 90 days for them to reply back. WTF, 90 days? I really don't know what is the situation. I like to assume that this is my AOR but in a wrong format and I'm hoping to receive my SA in this week.

Let me know if you know further information, or if you experienced the same issue.

90 days is the default amount of time CIC gives anyone when inquiring about anything. since it sounds like she submitted a case specific inquiry, technically another inquiry can't be made until AFTER 90 days. that is all that means. it doesn't mean it will take 90 days for them to respond and move on with your file.

Good, thanks for your reply. Should I consider this letter as my AOR?

I'm seeing here that it took only 2.5 months for you to be requested for the passport after receiving you SA? On the website the time frame for the Ottawa CPC is about 15 months. Would the final step usually be processed this fast?

CIC are on the move again, I just received my SA. Despite the small set back in them needing additional documents from me it only set me back 7 days.
So blessed we got Mississauga to process the remaining part of the application also...

Crossing my fingers and praying everyone else hears something positive in the coming days and weeks.

Just received our aOR by email :) :D

Dont worry, may aunt said the one I saw using the UCI# is for her Citizenship Application.
Not for my Sponsorship application Lol
Might be they havent posted the application status yet online since we just got AOR yesterday.

;)

Yay! AOR received over here too! Can't check the status online either though, so maybe they're taking their time to get them into the system.
