Wait time has gone down to 85 days..and they are working on November 25th applications...

Awful service - we all pay administration service fees and they can't hire more people and fasten the process. It is three months just to say I received your package. this is just ridiculous. I am suffering. Depressed stressed unable to focus on my work. I can't move without my husband and I am turning down so many good paying jobs that is well paid and up to my qualifications.

We all pay taxes and we all pay administration fees and we all have the right to ask them why it takes this long.

I understand your fustrationbut it's important to remember this is one of the busiest times of they year for CIC and I'm sure all of their staff are stressed and out under pressure to complete applications.
I submitted mine on dec 3rd and still didn't hear anything, I'm sure there are some people from November who didn't hear anything yet also.
When somebody applies for PR it's all about waiting, we expect it. The thought of being away from my wife is unbearable so I know how the emotional part of applying for PR is.

Think positive and stay focused on the long term goals and dreams!

Totally agreed~ My package rec'd on 21 Nov. I got my AOR 4 days ago on 14th Feb. It was over 85+
I believe CIC peoples are working hard after long holiday. Most Nov. app received AOR over 80+ but SA comes quick +1 or +2 days after AOR.
Mine SA arr on 16th Feb.

I prefer stay positive and cheerful while waiting our PR under in progress.

Brit, you should go pretty fast; UK processes very fast. Your app will likely be approved in both stages at the Miss office.

I received AOR on the phone today. I updated the spreadsheet to reflect that my application was received on December 15th and not the 5th.

I called to confirm for 2 reasons.

The first reason is because we had originally applied inland April last year and then withdrew at the end of November and submitted outland in December, so I wanted to make sure that our resubmitted application was sitting in the outland que and had not been messed up (I had heard of this happening to others).

The second reason is because we requested that the police check be transferred from our inland application to our outland application which would delay the day cic felt our outland application was complete so I wanted a concrete day on which the police check was transferred and they felt out application was complete which was obviously two weeks after we sent it on the 15th.

At first the rep on the phone said it would be processed soon but wouldn't give me concrete dates, he was being very vague. But after I explained the situation of it originally being submitted inland he looked into it and confirmed they had received the request to withdraw the inland and my AOR date from cic was December 15th.

Now to continue to wait for SA....

Just received my AOR. Mississauga received my application package on December 3rd.
Looks like they have started December!
