This is just to inform all the hopeful 31st dec applicants that I was also one among you but received my application yesterday due to global cap of 25000 filled by that time.

app filed 31st dec 2014
application sent back 12th march 2015
application recieved 28th april 2015

31st Dec applications returned and 1st Dec applicants still waiting for response from CIC
Should I take this in positive way that my application will be considered or more chances of lost of documents

I called yesterday to CIC and they said my file is sent back to me on 5thMarch (Not received till today) due to cap.

Hopefully i will a chance in EE.....Inshallah

I agree. Don't give up hope. Sometimes no news is good news. I would check with CIC though if your application was received on December 1st and you haven't heard anything at all. Mine was received on December 24th and I got the PER email on March 22. MY NOC was a slow one and wasn't filling up rapidly, so that could play a role.

Did they say that it was due to the overall cap or just the cap for your NOC? Best wishes for you in EE.

Sorry mate, i did not ask him this question. I think it might be NOC cap 2133.

Thanks krisvasanthkumar for the copy. I just wanted to ask you that after you got this letter your Second line will get updated afterwords and then around 15 days you will receive the Medical request. Can you confirm my understanding?

~2 weeks from getting AOR, the background checks will commence the time taken by VO is very much case specific. It should take 30-50 days in case of CVO after which they issue MR. Some people have reported that their 2nd line was updated after receiving MR but may be due to some exceptions

Hey, Your prediction came true, my family member got his AOR from colombo yesterday.

and based on your this quote, I believe we need to wait for 2 months for the MR to come through.
