For the first time today, I got to hear that CIC had received my file. However, the contact center agent was unable to provide any information about its rejection owing to the Global Cap. God knows, why they are taking so long to inform people about caps.

yes.. 12/31.....but, no point relying entirely on what these reps have to say. They change their statements every now and then. Better wait and watch, and be prepared for the worst.

Just called CIC again and the agent said same thing others have been saying since last week. "That centralized intake office said they have my file and would contact me anytime they me".... I'm trusting God that it will work for me even though other applicants said it is capped

Did they mention anything about rejection or global cap reached? She denied any answer when asked if it were to be returned.

Frankly I did not ask. The only thing I asked if he has any cue of when they are likely to contact me and his reply was he has none

Am 31st and waiting for good news also. Spoke with my lawyer today he said my app is not returned also. I believe a decision will come before month end.k

Anybody's who has had a Canadian visa or applied ever in the past would have an UCI.
