Has any 12/31 applicant got their application back yet or received update about the file? I'm concerned...hoping my file has not been lost in transit.

What is your application received date?

january 5, 1015. though i sent it decemebr 21 and arrived in canada december 28. i would like to believe that they would have returned it outright and would be with me now if they didn't accept it. a couple of forumites posted that CIO considers the postmark or the date it was sent. hoping for the best.

They consider 'received' date or 'sent' date? I believe it is 'received' date.

Never heard about 'sent' dates being considered.

They only consider received date. Please send them an email regarding your application status.

Guys,
I just saw on the FSW Spreadsheet a PER received on March 16 by a guy whose cc charged on March 3rd! That's even less than 14 days waiting time. (He/she has no job offer also).

I think they are moving fast on PERs now.
since they are almost through with charging, they will be focused on releasing all outstanding PER now

Maybe when you are sending from within Canada, they consider application sent date. From outside Canada is app received date.
