i think they consider application sent date...98% sure!!!

so Ideally I can send my application by snail mail and Say in August 2014 and it is received in October 2014 which date will they consider.

How can anyone ever be responsible for someone else.

Hi my friend sent his app on the 27th Dec from Scotland and it got there on the 5th Jan through DHL. They have already returned his file a week back and explained it was received after the deadline. This is not hearsay, he is my close friend and he even started this process before me. whereas my got there on the 31st

I second that ... It is mentioned everywhere in CIC website.. They always say :

if we received your application before xxx
all applications received after xxx


even in ECAS they mention we have received your application on xxx ,so nothing related to sending date as this can be manipulated easily.

Its strange, he's received his file back although he sent it from Scotland. I'm yet to receive my file, I'm in Canada.

I am 100% sure of what I said. We started the whole process together but I managed to submit before him

As at 3rd Nov when I applied to WES for ECA he has already received his own report way back before me I got my ECA report on the 15th Dec and managed to send of my application on the 23rd and it was delivered on the 31st at 8.09 AM. and besides it only takes 2 weeks max to get a regular mail from Canada back to the UK. I'm very much aware that its faster to get mails delivered inside the UK than Canada

Hey my application/2172 reached CIC , on 31st December, so far DD has not been drawn.

Need to know brother whether the overall cap is filled or not.

Many say it has filled, but still hope is there.

No had feelings Erable-Rouge. I just phoned CIC now and they said to me the same thing they said yesterday. Your my file is undergoing initial review since 11th March and that they will contact me directly in due course... I wonder what this means as other applicants are receiving their files back because of Noc 1123 cap. I just hope it will be a different news in my case..... God I look up to you

If u have Android phone or tablet you can install Magic jack app on it. Once you have the internet running OK on it. You can call Canada and the USA for free on with this app. But its usually best to call the call center at the early hours to avoid poor signal. I used it this morning to call CIC and even my cousin in Canada. It was super clear at the time I called

You can also download Voip calls, its free to Canada also but you have to deposit $10 on your account before you can call Canada

I just called CIC, and the agent said ,, cant say anything till April 6th, If you dont get any response from us after April 6th, write an email to them....They dont have any information about global cap .
