DECEMBER 2014 FSW APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Hi All,

I'm new to this site, I applied to FSW14 programmem under NOC 2172 on Dec 17th 2014. As of now no update from immigration and I heard that the applications which were received post Dec are getting picked and December applications are rejected. Can any one is having info regarding this? If so please do reply to this post. Till now I felt that my application will be picked but now I'm a bit stressed. Pls let me know how to check the status of the application. I have an excel to check the status but that is not showing any info. Is there any other way to go? Help is much appreciated.

Svarog, I felt the same just like you ??? (2 weeks back) thinking right now when CIC stopped charging applicants :-[ :-X after 24 Dec, for about a week there was no single applicant reported about the same. But after a week or so one or two applicants reported about their CC charging and this made all the rumors (Global 25k cap) to vanish ;D and after a while (1 week) they started charging some cold NOCs and yesterday there were applicants who got charged. Believe me there is no need to worry, be optimistic and you will get it for sure. Global cap is just a fake and its all rumors I feel and these CIC call center agents very much reluctant to give exact details and I don't agree with the info they provide us.

Its all up to you people to believe my words and I know the pain about these rumors of global cap 25500 which makes us more tense.

I am Dec 15 applicant.

My DD has not yet encashed, Nor received any mail communication from CIC.

But I managed to get my UCI number from CIC agent when I called them last week.

My ECAS status is showing as "IN PROCESS" and when I click it, the explanation is " your application is received on ... date".

Please check your junk email , you should have got the PER by now and DD should have been encashed. Kindly check with your bank as well.

Since it is showing " in process " that's for sure a positive sign .

30-31 applicant no need to worry :'(, by the grace of almighty everyone one will get charged ;D . Keep faith and don't loose hopes and pray god.

I know the pain of this waiting period as even I gone through this stage. I almost lost hope but this forum and whats group members made my hopes to be alive and I am (29 Dec NOC 1212 reached CIC @ 9:37AM) charged yesterday, mode : credit card

Hi Aveen ,

File number and UCI number are two different things. The file number is given once your applications passes the completeness check and the eligibility checks as per MI . The UCI number is allotted immediately once they open your package as they stamp it with the UCI number.

That is the reason why all UCI nos allotted files do not necessarily be eligible for the File number.

Thanks for clarifying, pardon my ignorance, is the file number in the PER email? what does MI stand for?

Yeah , the file number is in the PER and starts with an alphabet followed by the numbers.
MI stands for Ministerial Instructions issued by the Ministry of Citizenship , Immigration and Multiculturalism of Canada.

Thank you , I was reading all comments from this forum and was getting disappointed form CIC and even wanted to start preparing documents for EE early today. Moreover, I called to CIC agent yesterday, agent could not find my application information from system and suggested to wait for some time to get charged. Nothing about returned or rejected information.
Please prey for God. All appls will be in the game, inshallah.

Its another Hopeful News for all 29-30-31 Dec applicants.
I have talked with a friend last night who had called CIO to be inforned about Overall cap. The CIO operator said "It is illegal to provide these kind of information by phone and these information will be mailed to applicants if there will be any relation between them and Sub_cap or Overal cap" but she said wait until this weekend and all questions about encashment will be answered.
Just keep calm and go to Canada.

Yes that's true.
Last week as I called CIC, one of the operators suggested to wait by end of the week
and was hopeful that most of the application reaching last week of December shall be charged by that time.
Lets lay our hopes in the hands of God, for he knows the best to each of us.
