Yes, just remember it always depends how cooperative the person is on the other line. Being polite is a important factor too.

BhanuGhai - I believe dec 15 applications would have been definitely opened and completeness checked would have been completed as CIC has confirmed my application has been opened and they had read my email address from their system...But the question is that is it capped or not ??? that is the info we don't have...

That was me who reported earlier for File being return... But in call 2 and call 3 with CIC.. they told they donot have status of my application.. it might not be opened as of now.. need to wait for months time... So.. not sure abt the CAP..

Doesn't it mean that cap hasn't been reached yet if your file is opened(r u sure about that ?) ; otherwise there is no use of it...! what was the final verdict of the agent/operator about your application ?

My application under FSW NOC:2172 reached CiC Nova Scotia office through FedEx on 31st December 2014 at 10:31am. I haven't received any acknowledgment from CiC yet. Does anyone have any idea about their timelines?

Hi Everybody,
I sent my application documents by FedEx last Wednesday. I was pleasantly surprised today by a message that advised by documents were received in Sydney, NS at CIO - Intake Office. I am so excited. Here are my questions:
1. Exactly what should I be doing now while waiting for a positive response?
2. How soon will I get a response and what type of acknowledgement should I receive?
3. I have noticed that sometimes a cap number (total available occupations based) goes down and not up. What causes a downward fluctuation?
4. How do I join the group shown on spreadsheet for the tracking of various stages of application progress?

Try again...It happened once to me too but rest of the times (3 at least) it was alright.
