Guys just in a bit of Dilemma today ..called the CIC guys ..my application got charged on the 12th but the CIC guys told me that the UCi No. has not been generated yet ..is it possible ..any views ??

They are Not working today because is Holiday in New Scotia.
So, no charges today.

I dout this entry. Had any DEC 1st 2nd 3rd applicants received PER? However Feb 14th is a Saturday and CIC doesn't work on weekends.

U need to get charged first and more importantly the agent should be cooperative ie u need to be lucky enough to find one. So keep calling

An applicant just posted on the FSW 2014 thread saying that the CIC operator informed him that the NOC 1123 has already reached the capped limit since mid October 2014!!! Is that possible? i dont get it. CIC site showed only 385 apps out of 1000max in mid December.

I am kinda skeptic about the story someone calling CIC and the agent saying that NOC 1123 is already capped. I just called CIC last week and they told me they don't have information about the cap status of the NOCs. it simply means that they are not authorize to disclose this information.

Last night I tried to call CIC and was able to speak to them and the conversation is as follows:

1. Provided last name, first name, date of birth, country of birth and the date (13th Dec 2014) of application was sent.
2. The agent informed me that she didn't find the information using my credentials as it was too early for me to contact them.
3. The ideal time to contact them is 8-10 weeks from the date of application received by them.
4. She recommended to contact CIO Office, Sydney, NS and sent me an email for the same and at last I ended the call with thank you note.

I am bit worried as they don't have any information with respect to my application. Many thoughts are reflecting to my mind such as 'what if my application was returned', 'what if the CAP has reached (mine is 2281)' etc. etc.

Also, last week I checked with my DD issuer (Thomas Cook) and was informed that it is still outstanding as of 6th Feb 2015.

Seniors/forummates, what would be my next step? should I proceed to contact CIO, Sydney, NS? Your advises are greatly appreciated....

Guys,I called CIC yesterday(Monday)in order to get my uci no.,but the guy refused to hand it to me as he said because of security reasons.but atleast we know that they worked on Monday.
By the way what is the last update for PER!

I saw a user telling that he got PER last week and his app reached on dec 4th.

My experience has been that the agents will be able to view ur details after u hav been charged. So keep followin up with ur bank . Dd will take 8-10 days more as compared to cc

Check the no. Of apps under ur noc per 16th dec update. If it had crossed 900 there is all likelihood that it is capped

Richie, keep calm and u will see good News soon. CIC don't provide any information unless your app completed 10 weeks. I called CIC last week and he said the same info.

well, the no. of applications as of Dec (don't remember the exact date) it was published (by CIC) 493 (received) + 222 (decision pending)....then I had sent my application....hopefully my application & all who have applied in the month of Dec is considered for further process....

Don't worry, I guess we both fall on a same lady. Your words and story is exactly same as I experienced last night when I called CIC. And I guess we should wait till 10 weeks of time, I was not interested in any email contact so she said "Sir its up to you if you wanna call after 10 weeks we will answer your queries."
