May be this is the reason that today and yesterday there was no charging? God Knows.
Hope that snow storm would be the reason that CIO staff did not go to work.
Hope that reaching of overall cap of 25000 is not the reason behind stopping of charging.

I think that there is a strong indication that Friday and Saturday CIO Sydney in Nova Scotia is closed due to snow storm, based on information available from Canadian News Sites.
Another source forecasted below statement, refereing to Government of Canada Weather Webstie:-

There a potential for significant snowfall and possible winter storm conditions for Nova Scotia on Friday, the federal forecasting agency said in a special weather statement.

I really hope the 25,000 cap hasn't been reached yet. I'm really bothered and anxious that there's very few charging the past two days.

Although very little possiblity. But you can not say that probability of such occurance is 0. But you can say that probiblity of occuring such a scenario is 1 in 100. Means very little possiblity. But I pray and hope that by God willing, it would not be the case! And Weather is the main reason. Find below news from another Canadian News Site:-

I hope the weather is the main and the only reason for this disappointing stop .

What is the latest per date

according to SS, latest per date is 26.nov
interesting thing is that they are issuing PERs at a much faster rate compared to charging of credit cards...

according to SS and the last info from cic (16.dec) I believe that the probability of getting eaten by a dinosaur is greater than the possibility of the overall cap getting reached... :D

Historically, they never filled the cap, that is due to the fact that there is an overall Cap and a per NOC cap, in previous versions of the NOC Cap FSW, they never filled the overall cap, however, certain hot NOCs were filled individually (The NOC cap was 300, then increased to 500) the overall cap was 15000 increased to 25000, the NOCs were more less the same number 50.

The only variable here is that FSW 2014 was the last time that CIC would use the published cap system, that prompted many people to apply, so we will never know for sure if the overall cap was filled as CIC will not be publishing anymore cap data related to FSW 2014

In short....GOOD LUCK to all of us here and there is always EE if this doesnt work...

I had seen Dec 4th applicant got his PER today
