Good news

same forum different thread

Starting from this year 2015 another holiday has been added in annual public holidays of Nova Scotia. Third Monday of every February. So, on Monday 16th Feb, 2015 also CIO offices in Nova Scotia will be closed. Therefore unfortunately now we have to wait for good news of charging CC as well as encashing DD on Tuesday 17th of Feb 2015.

Nova Scotians will enjoy the province’s inaugural Heritage Day on Monday, now enshrined as the province’s sixth statutory holiday, falling on the third Monday in February every year.

That is not true. IF CIC is wrong in their analysis/evaluation/decision, the court will give the ruling against the CIC and it has happened in hundreds of cases in which the applicant went to Federal Court and got the decision of CIC reversed.

Maybe you are right George but my cousin applied for PR long back via a canadian consultant but hus visa was refused and then he appealed in Federal court who ruled against by cousin and hence it was turned down.

Maybe my expression is wrong.
I mean I totally agree with George because my friends told me there would be some snowstorm in Canada. :-);
Anyway, thanks for your opinion.

Hello Guys,

Please I need clarification on the specific meaning of the 'in process' status on ecas.

I opened the FSW submitted to CIO Sydney link under the status line.

It seems TO ME that the table is a Step-wise (Step 1, 2, 3....) list of the stages the Application has passed or will pass through.
If so, it will mean that the Visa Office has received our application package and has completed eligibility review. Now they have placed it 'in process'. Then the next thing will likely be Medicals, as per the steps?.

Hello guys :) ,
I am new here. My documents received to CIC on December, 18th. my money has not been encashed yet (CC). as I see the Global spreadsheet i find that new encashments are for people waiting for 55, 56 days or less. I have been waiting for encashment for 58 days by now.
what do you think about my application? you think it is delayed or rejected? you think the overall cap is getting filled and they are trying to select the best people among all? I think they do not oblige themselves to fill the exact 25000 people for the overall cap considering the Express Entry system. I want your ideas and advice on this matter. what do you think is going on because there are some people waiting for for example 55 days and suddenly one is encashed but the others are left unencashed. what is going on guys, does anybody know? what is going to happen to the others whose money has not been encashed yet?
Thanks in advance.

I have the same concern regarding left-behind-applications. There are some guesswork about what happens and reasons of delay.
Should there be a new thread for this topic?

Any news for PER for 1st Dec applicants...

plz share ... :o :o :o :o :o :o

Have patience my friend as it takes approx 4 weeks to get PER email after fees charging. So, you might expect an email from CIC by end of Feb or first week of March if you have been charged for fees in first week of Feb ... 8)
