Hi Friend,

I understand that somebody from 15-dec was charged but all the 15-dec applicants are not yet charged. Besides, it is mystery that 11-dec and 12-dec applicants whose mode of payment is cc have not been charged....

Me too 15-dec received by Donnie at 10:26 AM (Nova Scotia Time) waiting for the CC charge..Hoping that it is not capped and it resumes the charging sooner...

Keep Prayers on and please God bless us..

Completeness check by CIC officer does not mean only that forms and signatures are simply there. It means that documents provided by the applicants are also included. Without reading these documents (reading supporting proofs of your claims) the officer cannot decide if these documents are sufficient and acceptable or not. At this point the officer makes a match between the NOC descriptions and market ( Canada government ) requirements and your professional experience description. This is how they find if there is any discrepancy or not. Then they charge your mode of payment. A senior or a second immigration officer checks later the application and documentation to confirm or decline the decision taken by the first officer. At this stage you get either a PER or an NER. This is one of the reasons why most applicants with a cc or dd charge get always PER later because Fee payment is charged only when there is a high certainty that the file is complete and all in order.

Hi guys:

I am a new member to this forum but have been following since I sent in my application to CIC on Dec. 29. Method of payment was DD for NOC 0112. Checks with my issuing bank indicated that they will not be able to tell me whether the DD has been encashed. I found this very odd. Is there any other way to find out about the DD encashment since the bank appears unwilling or unable to update me

Hello Buddy,

Even I faced the same issue. Then again I approached the bank thru one of the friends who is employee there. They said, they can able to see the updates only if its charged. But. it may varies from bank to bank.

i suggest you guys to ask you bank at least after 60 days of file received date ... however, banks usually take few days to get info about the DD encashment from Forex department....

Anyone from NOC 0111 with good news about charging? My application is from december 18th and this waiting is killing me!!! Please.. Someone says that i still have chances to be in the noc ;)

Hello don't worry. My husband is also applying under that NOC, application was received 12 Dec, and we got charged last Thursday (5 feb). So if you are payment method is CC you will be charged in this week, please share your good news with us.

I guess that the speed of charging is slowly recently because of EE draw and Invitation, CIC may share resource to spend on EE draw and Invitation

Great to hear that you guys got charged. I am also a 0111 and an 12 Dec appl too, but my payment method was a local cheque issued by my consultant. I said to myself I would give her a couple of days and find out if the cheque has been cashed or not. The waiting is killing me. ;D

Me myself initially applied in 3012 on Nov 24. However after CIC updated cap, I sent another application under noc 3011 which reached on DEC 22nd. I wish I would have applied under right noc in first go but now I can just wait. Plz keep in touch.
