Congrats dear,

Please advice:

My friend has applied on NOC 2281 (Computer Network technician).
Application Received : 8th December
Till now no update, CC has not charged yet.
No PER email received yet.
Even no incomplete documents email received.
Please suggest what should he expects from it.

nope, no news...
when I called cic again, I got the same answer: "your application is not in the system"

one can maybe hope that there will be some 30.dec apps in the process (although still no news of beyond 29.dec charging), but I am now closer to think that it is game over for us 31.dec applicants and that it is time for me to face the ugly truth....

He should create a profile in Express Entry and he can get a chance maybe in next few draws as currently the applicants given ITA ( invitation to apply ) are the only ones having a job offer or Provincial Nominee . Also , it was mentioned somewhere that cap for CEC i.e. Canadian Experience Classhas already been filled though they have not yet officialy announced the overall Cap been filled for FSW.

I hope you understand by the above explanation.

The info about caps being filled appears to be authentic. But, CIC is unpredicatble and so far their modus operandi has been different from what is commonly known, as per the information on their websites. I think its best to wait for an official letter from them and simultaneously check for alternatives.
