I just got my CC charged;

Time line:

Application received date: 29 December
CC charged: 9 march
NOC: 3112

So friends dont loose hope.

They got the pace..and again started charging after 10 days..

Hey, my friend, I don't know why CIC is giving this kind of information. Are they trying to freaking us out?!

There is lot of confusing information. While I appreciate forumites sharing their timelines and updates, sometimes the information only adds to the anxiety.

The information is conflicting. We can only wait and watch...and keep the hope alive.

I just called CIC right now and asked for the overall cap. And he said YES, THE OVERALL CAP HAD REACHED, SORRY ABOUT THAT!!

Why there some Dec. 29 applicants are charged today?
I am really really confused now

Hey all! Dont fight, just relax. To the left is my timeline, i just called CIC and asked about my status, the agent told me he finds no info about my app yet and no UCI was given to me. I asked about the overall cap, he told me they dont know about capping. Then I particularly asked about NOC 0112, he gave me the same answer. and told me to call after 12th march if still no contact been made to you by CIC. Now if the cap or subcap have been filled, my app would also been returned but thats not the case.

Lets keep hope and ignore rumors.

He didn't know when the cap reached.

Maybe if some applicants didn't pass in the Positive Elegibility Review, they charge othes applicants to replace the vacancy! But it is just my thoughts.

Lets make a scenario, what i get of all this is what if CIC has gone through all app completeness checks and kept aside the completed apps, added to the global or subcap and returned those incomplete apps/less points/mismatch JD apps by giving all of them the same reason that the cap is filled. This might be because they dont want to delay the fsw2014 anymore and want to wrap it up by doing all the reviews(completeness check, points calc, JD match) at once so that they dont refund it if app fails to qualify at later stage.

No way dear. This news is very unpleasant and i hope that it would have been only NOC cap not the overall cap. Moreover i am also confused that how they are charging these 29th dec applicants if cap is reached. Hey were you able to get info that on what date the cap was reached?
