I'll say that you should immediately create profile for Express entry and remember that in initial stage there are not too many applicants for express entry therefore i think that your turn might come within next three to four months draw.

Hello all,
I submitted 30th December under NOC 0811.
I haven't seen a single post about this NOC.
As at the last CIC post, only 5 complete
applications and 3 Others in queue.

Am I the only 0811 in da house?

I'll say that all of applicants of NOC2172, should not worry at all because you all will be safely in the CAP of your NOC as well as you will be in the CAP of 25K. Because even if CIO considers all the application of those NOC which are not capped, even in that case total of all those applications will not take the total applications to 25K. Therefore it will be a matter of time and it will need patience.

Your above statement makes me assume that supposedly a particular NOC reaches its cap of 1000, still CIC may continue to charge them till the total cap of 25k is fulfilled.
Pls eloberate. As it would make lot of difference to people of hot NOCS like 2281 of mine.

Buddy it absolute wrong ..
scenario 1 - If any noc reached 1000 cap further application wont be accepted
Scenario 2 - if overall cap reaches 25000k for 50 noc irregard of count on each noc. even in this case further application wont be accepted for any noc

Total received toward the overall cap: 11,544 of 25,000

Pending applications (Complete applications waiting for MI Acceptance Review) - 4,565

It update posted by cic on dec 19th .. when they are charging october 2nd week applicant.. now it should be around 17 to 18K

I dont see chance of 25000 capping this year ..so no worrries

You dont need to wait for document to apply in EE..
Create a profile in EE and wait for the draw
Even in case you get ITA(invitation to apply) you will be given 60 days to submit the document
By which you should get the document back

FYI - Current trend in EE only people with job offer or PNP got ITA
