If you go through SS of the forum you will find that there are hundreds whose DD has been encasehd. DD is more secure and fine enough as CC.

Many many congratulations. I think someone from CIO saw all of december applications suffering from panic so they said let us charge some of 11December applicants ! Hope our turn will come sooner before end of this week.

Some stats from the latest download SS:-

Total December applicants as per SS:- 533 (as registered till 4th Feb SS update)

Already got charged / encashed Decemberr applicants: 28

Applicants got charged / encashed are in the period of 1st december till 12th december.
[one exceptional case is 15th december DD and 29th december may be a mistake or typographical error]

165-applicants still not charged / encashed. in same period of 1st dec till 12th dec.

Out of these not charged or encashed 75-are DD. So it makes sense that these canadidates will receive report of encashement at a later stage via their bank.

But still if we remove these 75-out of 165, there are balance 90-applicants with CC waiting for charging in period of 1st dec till 12th december.

No, plus one more week.

At the end of FSWP2014 on 31st December, there were serveral applicants who had completed all of their documents but because of last date being 31st december they could not submit them to CIO. Therefore I am pretty sure and confident with highest degree of certainity that all those around 700+ ITA holders will certainly have most of their documents ready to be submitted to CIO. Therefore as soon as result would have been announced they would have sent their parcels to CIO. Moreover all of those who are selected in this first draw are those candidates who have valid job offer+positive LMIA, therefore again there is a high probability that more then 90% of them were already residing in Canada so again it will facilitate submission of their documents without any delay. But again these are just statiscal speculations, because of no charing by CIO. God knows what they are doing today?

Express Entry applications are completely online.Who received ITA still has to go through the medical examinations, provide updated police clearance reports and updated financial statements in the new format that they are requesting.

After getting all the documents and before submitting the application online they already have to pay the fees. No one knows if CIO in Sydney is involved in the process after submitting an EE application. They can be processed directly at the VOs at this point since all the documents are online and the system already validated the points that the candidates claimed for language test and education.

Also since the application is online any VO in the world would be able to process it depending on their workload and the complexity of the case. My last tourism visa was processed at the VO in Lima even though I live in Mexico and Mexico was the place I sent my passport to. My previous visa was processed in Mexico and both were submitted using the same system that process the EE applications.

The December 15th and 29th DDs are not typos, they were drawn on Royal Bank of Canada locally so they were en-cashed instantly
