Congratulations.... you got oath invite quickly within few days after test.
Scarborough is always the fastest.
Thanks Sam. I think they had issued the RQ by mistake. Because the immigration had kept saying "Oh you both are bankers" as if that is enough criteria for Citizenship, Had hardly asked any question and had returned 80% of the documents that we submitted as our RQ response.

Congratulations! Pretty quick for non-routine processing.
Yup. Although there was a pretty bad phase when I had to gather all documents to respond to the RQ and then there was a lull for 4 months. Hopefully you cross the finish line soon and don't have to go through this pain.

I don't know, I just noticed that there is a 2nd "asianIndian" (with lowercase "a" at the beginning of his/her nickname) who is from GTA just after my row. I don't know if this is a mistake or not. Just want to let you know that this is not me. his/her file has been transferred (blue color). Mine is still "In Process".

Congratulations garian4u !!
Thanks AsianIndian. Praying for your Test invite now.

Cheers,
Thanks a lot beauhoe. But, basically it was also due to a lot of good advice from this particular thread and lots of good wishes from you. I would also like to help others just like you did. I think what you did and are doing is a noble cause. There are so many things that we can't find either in the official notices or instruction guides, but only through information shared by the forum members.

Had my test today at Mississauga office:
I passed the test 20/20. The officer checked my landing paper, IDs and went through my passports and compared the stamps to the residency calculator, I had some missing US stamps as the US officers did not stamp when my I94 was still valid. I had the online US I94 travel history and all my boarding passes. She checked the dates with the Canadian border and US reports. She also checked the foreign stamps. I had the translation handy. She now finished all dates in my residency. She told me that I may get my oath on Canada day or later.

Good luck for everybody
Congratulations on your test!

For our members who are getting oath invitations.
Please be advised that your next step will be to ordering your passport 48 hrs post oath ceremony.
Download appropriate form@ http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/passport/forms.asp and make sure to talk with your guarantor and two references.
On this note I would like to wish you a nice week.

I won't be applying for Canadian Passport. Waste of the money for me. I can travel to 157 country's on EU passport if I decide to renew it for a lot less $$$ than Can.Passport.

Dear friend,
of course you can keep your old passport if that is what you want, and enjoy your trips around the world as European. However, being a Canadian is beyond saving a few dollars, it is a feeling of becoming part of something big and new, something that needs your contribution to be done. The passport is just another step to truly accept this country as your own and be available to build it. Remember that we need you to be a better nation.
Enjoy your weekend.

Cheers,
I'm sure that becoming Canadian Citizen will contribute more to this country than passport to escape from it.
