hopefully will get the oath letter very soon!

congratulations. I have heard that montreal has same day oath. Didn't you get same day oath?
I suppose same day oath is not for everyone.

No, I will start reading the book only after I see my file transfered to local office. Not before. I have just updated your info on the spreadsheet. Let's hope we get our files transferred within a week or 2 !

My file was transferred to Mississauga office on April 8tu and I have not started reading the book yet. I am planning to start on second week of June as I will get more free time

Thanks Sam, you raised an interesting point, although I know some people who also had to wait few months before getting the oath letter! I guess the same day oath is not a rule!

congratulations. study hard and read book few times (3-4 times atleast). Don't fully rely on free online tests.

Study Methodology:
Read the book
Did Tests (loads)
Read the book again (placing a special emphasis on things I didn't know)
Did Tests again (loads)
Quick Read through book before the test.

Online Tests:
I've tried many different websites, make sure when taking an online test that the questions are refreshed (a lot just shuffle the same questions, others like v-soul.com introduces new questions).


Interview:
Can't say much, went in, took 5 mins, went out.

Also did your file get transferred just the next day after they started processing it ?

If Yes to both the above questions then your file is definitely not the regular-guy's file. Are you in the military or something ?

Online status Changed with the following notification:
"We sent you a notice on May 26, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on June 10, 2015 at 12:00 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment."

No AsianIndian, I'm not in the military.... Just a straight forward file I guess. You do read it right though....those are the dates, and yes, it is going fast for me. I'm a former police officer, don't know if that has something to do with it??? And right now, I'm a volunteer firefighter, helping my community, maybe that gives me 'extra points' 8)
