Hi Lounge, it is not advisable to leave any spaces blank. That could be considered as "incomplete" application. You might find other means to get the information you lack regarding your parent's year of birth. But don't consider sending an application with incomplete information. It might help if you can refer to www.cic.gc.ca. There are forms there you need to fill out as well as guidelines on how to fill out the forms; other requirements that should be included when you submit your application and MOST importantly, the do's and don'ts when filling out the form. All information and possible answers to other questions are also there. You just have to patiently read through it. Hope this helps.

really? link to post/thread?

Hi chach, i saw the post regarding the Oct 17 applicant with PPR in facebook. I joined that group for family sponsorship. Really helpful for me as members update others in the group constantly - especially for Manila applicants.

I just sent in a request for GCMS notes. Might as well join the party. ;D

lol Welcome Miller! I got my first one a few weeks ago. I really wanted to make sure that they received my CSQ and my application since Ottawa sends no AOR! Apart from that, there wasn't much info, but that didn't stop me from ordering another one soon after. I think I will just order one every month from now on.

Welcome to the party! I am on my second set now, they should arrive on June 6. To be fair, I got satisfying info from my first notes (even though is was early in the process), so just like Patience, I think I'm gonna order them every month. Just to see the progress, if any. And even if there is no progress, all I have to lose is $5.

I'm waiting on my notes. Requested them on the 5th. Really hoping us Ottawa applicants start to hear something soon. Haven't a few Oct applicants gotten their visas? So perhaps some PPRs next month? Fingers crossed.
My hubby's work contract just got extended into August from early June. Hoping by the time it finishes he has his COPR.

I know! I noticed that, and really trying to excersise restraint and not be too hopeful because in the same breath, I see other people who are closer to 10 months or over a year.

Great point. You got nothing to lose by ordering them. Well except your sanity. Lol.

Noticed few PPR requests from October applicants. We are not too far behind.

I think that's PPR! Holy cow, so exited for you. Congrats!!!

Thank you. I still can't believe it as I was not anticipating this request for another 2 months.

Congratulations! :o

I have good news too.
I sent an e-mail to SP VO at 9:30 AM asking if they could send my passport back using my spouse's FeDex number and 2 hours later they replied with the tracking number and expected delivery date. I'm so impressed by how organized and understanding they have been.
My "courier saga" could've been a lot worse if it was another VO.
