We are almost done our sponsorship / permanent residency stuff!
YAY! took us about 5 weeks to gather all the docs, and get it all done. I'm a Canadian, living and working in South Korea since 2008, wife is South Korean.
I'm only worried about one particular segment:
Question:
"Intention to Move to Canada"
We included: a "Letter of Support" from my parents, basically stating that we are able to live with them and they will support us, if necessary, without hesitation, upon our arrival
+
A Relocation strategy... our specific plans, written down on a 2 page document.
Since we are leaving in September, I basically told them that I'm going to do my best to find a job over on this end via the internet, that we are saving cash, and that we have a plan of attack once we get to Canada.
Is that good? what did you include for your "intent to move"?
We don't have a house purchased, and it's far to early for us to have a rental agreement, nor are we returning to school upon our arrival... so I'm a little worried that my "proof of intent" might be weak?
Let me know your thoughts?
