How do you go about ordering your GCSM notes and is there a limit to how often you can order them/do they consider it a nuisance?

I was thinking I should just let it sit in their hands until 10 months or so had passed and there were no updates online.
Maybe it's wishful thinking, but after seeing some July/August applicants get their COPR, I'm really hoping the Ottawa office doesn't keep it for 10+ months!

I agree. I hope we get our COPR sometime in July.

Hi! I do apologize to those people who have been messaging me for the past days re: spreadsheet. Haven't got the chance to check the forum lately as my husband visited me and spent a month here in the Philippines. He's now back in Canada just a few hours ago.. :'( :'( :'(

It's really hard being left behind yet again.. I absolutely hate the airport crying times and worse, the going home to an empty room part. And I do hope everyone receives good news soon, and share the same fate as Benjis.

Woohoo! They've finally updated the processing times list. Unfortunately/fortunately for me, the length of time (est. 15 months) has not changed.

Awww, the worst is an increase, second worse is no change. All this after 5 months.

Wifey, please don't let it get you too down. You've seen for yourself that Kingston has really picked up the pace in the past month or so. Some people are getting pprs in less than a year. Remember that most people get through in less than the posted times.

I am going to be optimistic on this one. It was 15 months before and it seems a fair amount of people were still getting COPR in 8 months.

Wifey, I'm so sorry you had to wake up to that news. Once they publish the 20-80% data (it seems that dataset hasn't been updated yet), hopefully it contains more promising numbers in the 50% category. Plus this may be accounting for the Christmas break.

And dollinexile, I hope you had a wonderful visit with your husband. I can't imagine how difficult it would be being that far from my husband. I really hope you are one of the fast applicants out of Manilla!

Like you, I know the aweful feeling of driving to the airport at the end of a visit. It's the worse, and I cry 97% of the time. The only thing that keeps me going is planning and looking forward to the next visit. Hopefully soon, all of us will be done with this process and all the pain, sadness and frustration will be a distant memory. Hang in there

Hey,

So I'm not sure if this is just wishful thinking or if my application is actually in process now.

Today, like many times before I checked ecas for my status using my husbands information since every time I tried using my info (the sponsored person) it would tell me that they could not pull up anything because my application was probably not being processed yet. This time though I got in and even though it says the same thing that it has always said "Application received.... Medicals received...". I also know that Ottawa does not send always send out AORs or change the application to In process. So does anyone know whether this means that possibly my application is finally in someone's hands being reviewed?

I think it just means that it's in queue to be reviewed. If you started the process in December, I think it's way early for any processing at the VO to be taking place as yet. :(

It was short and sweet. Too bad I still had to go to work and leave him at home. My 1 month was reduced to 20 days. But, I am always optimistic, I always tell myself, its better that I had time to spend with him, though a brief one, than not have any time at all. :) I hope so too! Thanks!

Hahaha. Me too. I am such a crybaby. I still cried when I got to the office a while ago. I hope there will be no more visits, that the next time we'll see each other, he'll be picking me up at the Vancouver airport. Thanks for the boost. :)
