Well, I got an email from CIC and my visa was issued on Feb 27! I'm just waiting for the paperwork and to land. Almost over!

Lucky you Benjis!! Congrats. I'm glad that one of us is done with this waiting giving hope for the rest of us that our visas will come soon!!

I haven't heard anything from the VO so far and I'm starting to worry. I suspect they haven't even opened my file. So yesterday I ordered GCSM notes to see what's going on. I know it won't say much in there but at least I will be able to see if the file reached the VO, if they have our correct contact info, etc.
I should be getting them by the end of the month.

Is sydney always this fast? Their published processing time is 10months.

Sydney had an average processing time of like 5-8 months last year I think but towards the end of the year there were a bunch of people who were getting processed in just over 3 months. But in the last couple of months 4 of us have had processing between 2 1/2 - 3 months. One person got theirs in 74 days. I'm not sure what they're doing over in Sydney but someone needs to give them a freakin' medal!

And if someone could fill in my final spreadsheet update that would be fantastic!

Visa received: March 6

Landed: March 10

Destination: BC

I got impatient and went to land this morning instead of tomorrow; I'm officially a PR! My officer was really nice and it took less than an hour. So happy! Good luck everyone!

P.S Can someone change my landed date from 3/10 to 3/9 please.
