I am floored by how quickly your application was processed! It seems like they are really picking up speed in Ottawa, which is fantastic for everyone.

I have finally set my date for landing. On August 30 I will be driving from Connecticut to Toronto in a rental car. Is there a better bridge to cross? Do I have to go through a specific one? I am so excited to be with my husband again and finally start my life in Canada!

Do you have to apply for the PR Card separately or will that be sent automatically to the Sponsor's address?

Other than the COPR and mail (with my new Canadian address? or my US address?) is there anything else that I need to bring with me to land?

Today we received my COPR in the mail. It expires November 21, 2014. Now to just figure out when I'm going to land. Which will be a fun negotiation with my work, who is supposed to transfer me to the Toronto office. I am so thrilled that this process has almost come to an end!!!! :D :D :D :D

Miller how far did the visa have to travel through the mail? Just wondering so I can try to predict when mine will get to Connecticut from Ottawa.

I never received PPR either. We sent a photocopy of my passport with the application package. We got a request for proof of Canadian residency for my husband at the end of May and the due date was July 22, so we weren't expecting to hear/see anything until after that. [/list]
