Amen, Patience. I would be going crazy (and driving my husband crazy) if I hadn't found this forum. It's nice to talk the process out with people who are in it with you. Right now I'm trying to look forward to some warmer weather, as it seems likely that'll happen before the hubby is legally up here.Patience09 said:We don't know all the factors that cause delays. We all agree that the Christmas season was one reason for the slow-down. But who knows if in December, there was or was not an increase in applications? Could be possible. More applicants + same amount of resources = increased times.
I agree with Wifey, even family immigration is a privilege. Does it suck and drive you nuts when things take a super long time? Of course. It also sucks when you don't get real time updates and processing times. I personally don't think that anyone should have to wait for more than 6 months to be reunited with their loved ones, but due to 1 reason or numerous, this is the way it is for most applicants. (I envy those who get through in 4 months and things like that!)
We all have to try to be patient in this stressful process, and lean on each other for support
Also, I wonder if the influx of all the new family applications have caused a slowdown in Mississauga?
