December 2013 Applications

I had submitted passports to Sydney Australia on 14th Nov after CIC transferred the stamping to Sydney. Buts its been more than 1 month and still my PR stamping is not complete...Anything to worry?

Anyone has similar experience of Visa getting delayed so much?

I have a quick question. I am waiting for my passport request and there is a chance of it coming sometime in Jan or Feb. But I am travelling out of Canada for 2 weeks starting from Jan end and will not be able to send my passport to CIC within 30 days if the request comes out of the date range. What should I do in this case? Reply to the passport request email with this reason? Do I need to send them any documents like flight tickets etc?

also, is there a way to get the passport back from them quickly if the PPR comes early Jan so i can travel by end of the month? I have heard that usually it takes weeks to get the stamped passport back from them.

Recently my status changed from "Application received" to "In Process". What does this actually mean..?
 
Can you please provide me with advice or information:

I have applied for my PR in Nov 2013 and got the APR on February 2nd. Then on July 8th they asked for supporting documentation, so I sent the supporting documentation they asked for. My status is still showing "application received" and last updated with the following

We received your application for permanent residence on December 20, 2013.

We started processing your application on July 8, 2014.

I am concerned that I haven't heard anything back about my PR despite my attempts to follow up the status online has not yet changed either. Please advise if there is anything I can do or if there is anyone in the same shoes that I am in.

I am also in same boat and I have applied in Dec 2013 got the APR on February 5. Then on 8 Aug they asked notice of assessment, I sent by email. After that no info but I did Upfront medical also order GCMS notes they never received anything. Sent again on 23 December t4,notic of assessment and receipt of e-medical copy my email again.
Showing my status We received your application for permanent residence on December 17, 2013.

Hey ..good news! We just got our passport request!!! :) :)

I have a question though..any idea how long it takes to get the visa stamped and the passport returned..? We had travel plans for the end of this month..was wondering if we could still make that or it's better to re-schedule that..? Please advice..

Also what are the consequences of not sending the passport to them within 30 days?
