December 2013 Applications

I'm returning to college to study this Fall, and I don't apply for study permit yet since I thought my PR would be approved before September.
I start getting nervous because I may not hear back from CIC regarding the final decision for PR, and may not be able to get back to study as planned..

Does anyone know if it is okay to study only few courese at College as a part-time student without a study permit?

Have faith and patience. We are all waiting.

To answer your question, the college will not allow you to take course if they do not get the study permit. If the courses are part of a program you will need a permit.

Congrats !!! Based on my experience - If your medicals will be absolutely fine then you will get your PPR in 2-3 days after your medicals will be received at CIC. All the best friend.

I think you need to be a full time student to apply for study permit but if your course is less than 6 months then you do not need any permit but double check because i am same situation but i am going back to school full time.

I sent the passport on 28th July and it reached on 29th. Return tracker NOT yet activated?

Same case as you.. Sent 28 and reached 29th... waiting for passport now..

FYI: this is for my Fiancee.. she is Nov 18th applicant.
