Mutt has booked his appointment in inland CIC office. Yes, if you book an appointment from inland CIC office your landing will be done in the office by CIC Immigration officer. for all the details regarding process and appointment please call CIC toll free number.

Yes You can do it from within the City if you are already resident in Ottawa. They wont let you if you are not. Same applies for other cities with an immigration office. The "booked" is not accurate they do it every Tuesday @ 200 Catherine Street Ottawa 0900-1200 am. Hope this helps

Landing related question. I have US tourist visa but my wife and 3.5 yr old daughter do not. Do my wife and daughter need US visa for landing at the bridge?

Hi luvcanvisa,
US Visa is not required for Landing. Once you cross the border, you need to tell the security staff in US side that you came for Landing Canada. They will give you the administrative refusal letter. You can return back to Canadian side and do the landing formalities.
Administrative denial has no record / impact.

Hi... Can someone please help me... My ECAA status changed to In Process and says, we have started processing your application on July 29th... I have still not recieved my medicals... Is this normal? Here are my timelines..

Application submitted: December 20th
AOR received : February 9th
ECAS status changed to In Process : August 3rd

I have seen people getting MR first then the status changes to In Process. I guess in your case they are some verification that is going on so that they have changed the status to "IN Process"

January End applicants are getting medicals what is happening with December applicants ... Many haven't got their medicals yet.... Any december applicants have their medicals today??
